Who is Danny and what is MyCoastalVision?

I'm just a boy who grew up in a Northeastern Ohio City. I grew up with 4 older brothers and a younger sister and we were around boating, sailing, iceboating, skiing and hard work. I still reside in Northeastern Ohio

I started taking photographs when I was in the 8th grade. I had my own darkroom and learned how to develop and print Black & White photography. Throughout high school, I dabbled in photography, graphic design and the arts.

I eventually when to college and earned my degree for broadcasting and journalism, but always had my hand in graphic design and photography. I managed a three-store photolab company in Bangor, Maine while I finished my education. This allowed me to ply my hobby in some of the most beautiful surroundings this country has to offer.

I took a break away from my hobby for a number of years. During that time my wife and I ran a typesetting and graphic design company and I worked for a large transportation company doing marketing, management and IT. We have two fine young boys.

In 2001, I began working as a marketing manager for a local company. This allowed me to hone my skills, travel and learn a few new techniques. I've always been technically inclined, so the jump to digital photography was a smooth one.

I am an accomplished videographer and web designer with over 9 years of web design expericen. I'm concentrating on my photography for the time being, but I offer some web design as well. If you would like a "turnkey" website (IE: setup domain, email, take photos, write basic copy and layout basic website with a few pages) I'm your guy!

This site is a realization of a dream I didn't know I had, to share "My Vision" with you. I will be excited like a small child around the holidays when I post new work to my galleries. I hope "My Vision" brings joy to you each time you see it hanging on the wall in your home, office or business.
